First Italian supermarket will open in Bratislava.

The Italian supermarket Cortelazzi will open its first store in Slovakia.

Cortelazzi, a chain of stores owned by the Cortelazzi family from northern Italy, will offer about 4,500 Italian products in its 1,800-square-metre store in Bratislava's Bory neighbourhood, the Hospodarske Noviny daily writes. A cafe and a restaurant will also be part of the store.

The store should open on November 6, according to the Relife website. The HN daily mentions the end of October.

The company should employ up to 30 workers.

Small specialised grocery stores
